We’re thrilled to bring the joy of language learning directly to your home! Our in-home play-based Spanish immersion camp is designed to introduce children to Spanish through play, movement, art, and storytelling—all in a fun, engaging environment where they feel safe and supported. 1. Minimum Enrollment:
Each camp session requires a minimum of 5 enrolled children to run. To ensure that activities are age-appropriate and developmentally engaging, children should be within a 3-year age range.
2. Space Needs:
We ask for a space of at least 15' x 15', either indoors or outdoors. This space can be on the floor or at a table. Outdoor spaces are encouraged.
3. Adult Presence:
An adult must be present in the home at all times during camp hours. You don’t need to participate—just be available in case support is needed.
4. Water Access:
Please ensure access to water for activities, handwashing, and hydration.
5. Materials Bin:
We’ll provide a bin with all the supplies your group needs for the week. The host family will be responsible for keeping the bin safely stored for the duration of the camp.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to speak Spanish to host?
Not at all! Our camp educator will guide all activities in Spanish. You just need to provide the space and be present in case of emergency.
Q: Will my child be able to keep up if they don’t know Spanish?
Yes! This camp is designed for beginners and uses a play-based approach that helps children absorb the language naturally—just like they learn their first language.
Q: What if the weather doesn’t allow us to be outside?
We ask that host homes have an indoor backup space that meets the 15' x 15' requirement just in case.
Q: What ages can participate?
Children are grouped by age: 2.5–4, 5–7, and 8–10. All participants in a group should be no more than three years apart in age.
Q: What’s included in each day?
Each day includes Spanish-led arts & crafts, movement games, music, dramatic play, and story time—all designed to build vocabulary and confidence in using Spanish naturally.
